The Niagara Gatekeepers Program reaches out to socially isolated, vulnerable, older adults and empowers them, or those who speak on their behalf, to access community programs and resources that will help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life before a serious crisis develops. We meet this challenge through public awareness campaigns and educational workshops, and by strengthening collaboration between individuals, service providers and businesses at both the local and regional levels.
